A glass of summer
The Rosé is dry, not sugary, with that crisp freshness to cool down a hot day or lighten up the mood. Enjoy chilled, sans shoes for best results.
100% Santa Barbara
A picturesque coastal region framed by mountains. Cool, foggy breezes offset the warm California sunshine, resulting in longer cultivation periods, i.e. more time on the vine for the grapes to develop their special character and flavor.
Santa Ynez Valley
Cool breezes from the coast warm as they come inland to the valley.
Los Olivos District
Unique for the uniformity of its soil—and it feels like the Mediterranean.
Inland and very warm. Perfect for growing the thick-skinned Malbec grape.
Our wines are made the natural way: in small, sustainably farmed batches with nothing added to artificially preserve, or augment the taste. There’s no need. Our grapes are carefully sourced for taste, so once they hit the barrels, we let them do their thing with minimal intervention. It’s not the only way to make wine, but it’s the Usual way.
Great grapes or go home
The first, and most crucial, step in making a great wine is selecting great grapes. Our Rosé consists of grape varieties that are classic to Provence, but best suited to grow in the Golden State.
Soil is quite literally the foundational element to everything we do. Healthy soil makes for thriving vines, but it can also add nuances to taste.
I wish so much that these came in a regular size bottle! I feel like the biggest share of the cost must be packaging. I drank the rose on the fourth and I had zero hangover which I am assuming is from the 0 added sugar. Please make real size bottles!
It was everything I hopefully for!
I bought this for a colleague for a her birthday, and she LOVED it. Definitely will buy again--both for myself and as a gift.
Ordered 12 bottles and more than one tasted like vinegar. Company replaced 1 of the 12. Might be a temperature issue with shipping, but sticking with local wine stores for summer Rose.
Taste is great, each bottle is 6.3oz for the price it would be better at 7-9oz you can cut on marketing/ bottle it feels wasteful for a bottle.
