Our wines are made the natural way: in small, sustainably farmed batches with nothing added to artificially preserve, or augment the taste. There’s no need. Our grapes are carefully sourced for taste, so once they hit the barrels, we let them do their thing with minimal intervention. It’s not the only way to make wine, but it’s the Usual way.
What people say
Love this wine. Perfect serving. The red is great and Rose is so crisp and refreshing, perfect for Summer! Great for gifts, too!
We love them all. Cannot decide which is our favorite.
I was intrigued when I came across Usual on Instagram. I really liked the idea of no added sugar or sulfates, and the individual portion size is also great as my husband doesn't drink wine as often as I do. The price point is a bit higher than I'd like, but I suppose that is due specifically to the additional packaging/shipping costs associated with individual portions. Maybe with time they can work on that a bit. In any case, I am really enjoying the wines. The rose is surprisingly my favorite. It's a little sweeter than I normally would choose, but it is just darn refreshing. I also like the red, but only once it's had some time to open up. Taking a sip after first pouring is not as enjoyable. The Brut is also nice, but I notice that it loses it's fizz pretty quickly. Not a problem if you drink it fast enough of course. :)
I like the single serving bottles and the variety of wines. I prefer the red and the rose, so next time I may order just one wine rather than the mixed pack.
